It offers university-standard education to train nurses under PAU’s Bachelor of Nursing program.The school was previously known as the Sopas Adventist School of Nursing and was re-established in 2013 with the support of the Enga Provincial Government after thirteen years of inadvertent closure.

Today, ECON strives to become a premier nursing training institution among its peers in PNG, while inculcating Christian philosophy to its members – the students and staff.

ECON offers a four (4) year Bachelor of Nursing (BN) program that enables graduants to become nurses who are competent, confident and compassionate in providing nursing care to individuals, groups or communities in accordance to the PNG.

NOW is under the Innovative University of Enga, Faculty of Medical & Health Sciences.
